The story goes as follows: A group of drug dealers steal dope from a police station and it is Will Smith's and Martin Lawerence's career bust! Martin Lawrence and Will Smith make a great team!<br>The show is very entertaining in parts, but some flaws are that there is a long period from about 20 minutes to an hour in that have little action or funny moments. The end is excellent and the beginning is funny and entertaining. There are a lot of explosions, a LOT of profanity (not a movie you'd watch with your grandmother) and some fast car scenes. The acting on behalf of the villain, also, is not up to par. I recommend this film. Was this review helpful? I was amazingly surprised, because sequels usually don't measure up to the original film, but BAD BOYS II exceeded my expectations and then some. I enjoyed the actions scenes because they kept me screaming and on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie. I especially enjoyed the freeway scene where Will continued to put he and Martins life in jeopardy. The director did and acceptional job and I have a new respect for Gabriel Union because I have looked @ her as the anal, bad girl, deva but now in this film she is smart and whittty and she and Will really look good together. I haven't been going to the movies as much lately because you don't seem to get your money's worth anymore but Bad Boys II gave me that and I truly enjoyed myself. I can't wait until it comes out on Video. I'll be the first in line the Tuesday morning Bad Boys II goes on sale. Was this review helpful? I loved the arguments between Will and martin, they had great chemistry the whole movie and it did not seem to get old between these 2. on top of that the action in this film was very good also. Will Smith plays the cool and suave Mike Lowrey, a second generation rich kid cop, and Martin Lawrence as Marcus Burnette, the struggling family man and irritable cop. This is most definitely not a match made in heaven, but they are one heck of a detective team.
