this movie made me laugh my rear off. It was more funny in the theater, but it still makes me laugh. It's so stupid when you look at it, but, usually the stupid thing's are the funniest. If you like the show, you'll love the movie!

I like the cartoon. Its funny, and short. This movie is one long 30 minute cartoon, stretched out. They should have asked me to write the script, as I would have come up with something that worked for 90 minutes. Its odd, but on TV I can understand what Meatwad says. In the movie, I couldnt understand a lot of his words, but one probably doesnt really need to. I say stay at home and watch the cartoon

The movie had me laughing the whole time. I would have given it a 5 star rating if they had more speaking roles from Carl and incorporated Boxy Brown with a speaking role. Other than that it was what I expected...random humor strung together to entertain, not to make a stance or convey a message. And entertain it did!

I watched the movie two nights ago and I thought that it was as amazing as the show. Some of the people who have written reviews for the movie have just put too much thought into it. I mean the writers never intended anyone to ask questions like, How does a hunk of flesh like Meatwad function as a thinking being? How many flavors can Master Shake generate? Was Frylock ever a freedom fry? which is what Mr. Hartl thinks most may ask. We as regular viewers of the show have no need to question the hows and whys of the show its suppose to be nonsensical. We expect them to be stupid and we were never feeling trapped because we paid money to see it. If they were to have made the movie make sense they would have lost a lot of fans. In conclusion the movie was made for the fans, Im pretty sure they never thought this movie is going to make everyone who sees it a fan. Some will like it but others will agree with Mr. Hartl and Ill still say they dont understand what it was about. Watch the movie and dont try to make sense of things because youre not going to its not suppose to make any sense.

I am a big fan of the show. I watch it all the time. So I decided to go see it with a buddy of mine. We got our moneys worth and then some. The introduction to the movie is so bizarre that only a stuck up 45 year old reviewer whos never seen the show (John Hartl may be such a person) would find it unfunny. As far as plot goes there IS a main purpose to the films characters, but I wont spoil anything. They may stray from that direction from time to time, but thats what ATHF is all about. And why do people insist that you have to get baked to like ATHF or this movie. Ive never done a drug in my life (or beer or smoke) and Im pretty damn smart in school and I get it just fine. Anyways the movie is just what its meant to be, an 87 minute block of ATHF fan service that is sure to make you laugh, as long as you dont come into the theater with a stick up your...you know. Basically Shake is an ass, Frylock is looking for answers and Meatwads.....Meatwad, the way the show was intended. Oh and I dont know about you guys, but we have MATINEES. So when you complain about spending 9.50 on a movie youre the idiot who went to a late showing. I saw ATHFCMFFT at 230PM and it cost me 5.50. Just a thought.

This movie would have been perfect if it came out on April 20th, number one in the box office because the only @ing way I would have really enjoyed it was if I out of this universe high. If I cause enough damage to my brain, I would probably find the nonsensical and random plot hilarious, but then again Id probably be crapping myself constantly which is hilarious. It may seem that I hate ATHF but only the movie. Its great in the fifteen minute intervals but in an hour and twenty minutes its only good for torturing innocent people to tell all there secrets. The beginning intro was the greatest, like the old Lets all go the lobby cartoons, but that alone is not worth 9.50. If you want to go go. I not telling you not to go, just that youll feel like, Wow, I just spent money on a show about talking food, why? Its not a good feeling.

I, like other users, strongly disagree with Mr. Hartl, the film critic from MSNBC. In addition to that, I have seen people actually go to see this film, and I myself have seen the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie. I couldnt stop laughing at the characters and their not so unusual quest to do nothing, even if it did seem like a 90 minute episode. My message is plain and simple to all of you YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ANY SENSE OF THIS FILM! To attempt to do so will cause you major headaches, misery, and a Chuck Norris Roundhouse Kick to the face times ten! If you are a fan of Adult Swim or of ATHF, GO SEE THIS FILM! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

John Hartl is an idiot for his review. The movie was amazing, a big long, about 90 minute episode was what it was. Someone else said that if you hadnt the seen the tv show ever before, it should be even more insane, and it should be! but even if you have seen the show, well, you just get, like i said, one big episode that you never stop laughing at. Aqua Teen did not take a dive. In my opinion, it met expectations, of which mine were very high!

I love Aqua Teen on Adult Swim, but if the theater had been a bit quieter I would have dozed off. The film didnt even come close to hitting the halariousness of the show. Dont waste your money...wait to rent the DVD!

Being a fan of the show for quite some time, I was more than excited when this film finally hit the theatres and I was quick to see a showing the day it came out. First things first, if youre not very familiar with Aqua Teen I would highly suggest looking into it because if the show doesnt appeal to you chances are that this film will not. It is advised that you leave your brain at home and do not make the slightest attempt at making sense of this film. Simply sit back, watch, and prepare to laugh at the bizzare and abstract humor. Even though I love the show, I was still a little worried about how it would pull itself as a full length feature film and after viewing my conclusion is that it pulls itself exactly as it should Like a very extended episode of the show. Complete with surreal situations and enough wise cracks and crude humor to make your Grandmother throw up, this is a perfect film for those who didnt come to see a movie but more so to have a good time. Is it coherrent? Sort of. Is it intelligent? No. Is it good? Yes. Is it funny? Absolutely. Go see one of the most abstract movies Ive ever encountered and prepare to be dumbstruck by the sheer random hilarity of what I feel is a great big screen adaption of the show.

I dont know why, and Im not supposed to know. Thats postmodernism, kinda. And John Hart should understand that a postmodern art-film isnt supposed to conform to narrative restrictions and conventions of film. He discredits himself in his negative review by taking off points for something this genre isnt supposed to do anyways. Im glad it doesnt have a discernible narrative or a background story for the characters because that would betray the heart of the show. Hart should stick to reviewing blockbuster schlock and leave our schlock alone.
