I just happened to tune into "American Drug War" a few weeks ago and it blew me away. The producer of this documentary did a wonderful job comparing and contrasting different government approaches to the "war on drugs." He features great interviews with such "drug offenders" as Tommy Chong and Ricki Ross. I was disgusted to learn that our own government makes it a business to lock up non-violent drug offenders, about 50% of our prisons. The drug problem is a social problem and should be dealt with accordingly, not by turning the "offenders" into slaves in a corrupt system!
I have watched this documentary more than a few times already and decided I must buy a few copies to distribute to family and friends! I highly recommend this powerful documentary to any and all.
