I guess it was the ingenious director in James Cameron, or the great acting, but I was, again, fishing for the next movie - Alien 3 Was this review helpful? Equipment and tactics of the marines are reasonable for the timeframe, great acting all around - and of course, Sigourney Weaver. The Marine weapons and vehicles stand out in your mind as much as the aliens do. Great acting from Sigourney Weaver and the under appreciated Michael Biehn help the movie move along at it's fast pace. Absolutely the best action film Cameron has made, even better than T2. There is something about returning to face your fears and overcoming them that I find more interesting. In addition, you see James Cameron's early and somewhat rough genius in this movie. Its interesting to see Paul Reizer as the evil corporate guy. After seeing him for so long in a romantic comedy (Mad About You) its interesting to see him as the heavy.
