But it feels like it was made just for me. I loved it, professional film critics be damned. It was fun and Benjamin Walker can swing that axe, baby! I'm going back to see the 3D version. I FOUND TI TO BE VERY ENTERTAINING.
LIKED HAVING ACTORS WE DON'T RECOGNIZE TO MAKE IT MORE BELIEVABLE.
LINCON WAS GREAT.
ALOT OF BLOODY SCENES....A BIT TOO MUCH VAMPIRE SLAYING THOUGH.

I teach US history and it is not near the truth but there are a few of the main figures of the time. Try and see how many you can recogonize as the film goes on. When I read that the critic had given it one star I almost did not see it.
I enjoyed it whats more my husband, who is not pleased unless someone gets blown up or is involved in a car chase in the first 5 minutes, loved it !
I give it 3 stars he gave it 4.
Its is not a history lesson its a what if..

But, the 3D was excellent, the action was good, and the story line was entertaining. A few secens, especially the ending on the train was a little over blown, but then so was the story itself, that equals Cinema Fun. If you want to just be entertained for 105 minutes, this is a good choice. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. Was this review helpful? Aside from the campiness of the title, it has a fun storyline, and some good performances by the lead actors, especially Benjamin Walker as Lincoln.
