The musical selections really complimented the story line, too! Although parts were predictable, this movie was a great escape, feel good kind of story. It made me think if more people took the time to get to knkow what they really are looking for in a relationship, they might wind up happy. Was this review helpful? I saw a side of him that really surprised me.
After seeing 'A Lot Like Love', I was mesmerized by Ashton. The 2 characters had a relationship that was so much like real life in this fast-paced world. I liked the idea of pulling them apart and bringing them back together. Each time a little closer and futther apart at the same time. Much like 'When Harry Met Sally'. Was this review helpful? Although somewhat predictable (but I think that's because I watch a lot of movies), it still is pretty original for a romantic comedy. The chemistry between Peet and Kutcher is amazing and I was really surprised that Ashton could act. The supporting characters are memorable and consistant (like the main characters they also have a personality, though not explored as much as Kutcher's and Peet's) and this movie, is above all, really sweet. It's not a deep, thought-provoking flick designed to make you take you to another level of consciousness, but it will leave you feeling like you're floating on air. Was this review helpful? The soundtrack to this movie is awesome. I left the theatre and purchased it that evening. It's a feel good movie, but not a typical chick flick, as it has some twists and turns and is realistic regarding the things life throws at you. It even had a message for those deep thinkers out there who enjoy analyzing movies after the fact. Good acting, good supporting actors; the fact that Kutcher's brother was hearing-impaired added some texture to the film. His sister in the movie was a riot. Go see this movie, if only for it's ability to provide some escapism from this crazy world we live in. That's what entertainment's for anyway, right? Was this review helpful? This is the movie where he jumps the shark.
Ashton needs to fire his agent!!! He picks some of the worst movies for Ashton to be in.
In five years we'll be saying: What ever happened to Ashton Kutcher? Was this review helpful? Well along side with this epic stuggle to realize that their lives aren't going to get any better if their not together, the movie is just so hilarious. Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet have a chemistry like we haven't seen on the big screen in along time. Well with fate and all odds ploting to get them both together this movie with leave you head spinning and wanting more. Was this review helpful? PREDICTABLE! i hate knowing whats going to happen in a movie before i watched but i didn't have to even second guess during this film. it was like a road map i've read a thousand times. they meet, they cry, they fall in love, everyone lives happily ever after.....blah blah blah. anyone seeing this movie is only going to waste their cash because they think ashton is attractive....but this movie was a big turnoff! This movie, to them, seems to be a combination of funny scenes and mishaps from other hit movies that makes it just another wannabe. I, however, found it to be very fresh and funny. Kutcher and Peet make a great on screen couple and truly create magic together. Being the opposite of cheezy chick flick A Lot Like Love is a great date movie that will have guys rolling on the floor too. I brought two reluctant guys and they ended up loving it just as much as i did. Go see it! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-9 of 9 Per Page | ||
