I can not tell you how bad I thought the movie was. It would have been much more effective to film the staged production. Although the performances were good for the most part, the movie truly lost all the beauty it had on stage. I felt nothing (no pun intended) for any of the characters or their stories. Too many cuts from the show were made, and the flashbacks of Zack and Cassie were very dull. ";Music And The Mirror"; was such a powerful number on stage that ";Let Me Dance For You"; could not compare. The same applies to the ";Hello Twelve, Hello Thriteen"; montage. It should have been left alone and ";Surprise"; should have been left out -yes it showcased the talent, but it was weak in the storyline. Was this review helpful?
