Secound how is this stupid. For those of you who question what happened in the movie you just had to pay a little bit of attention. It's not just an action or horror film it does have a bit of drama. This movie for a sequal is very original without straying so far away from the original that they don't seem like movies from the same movie series. One example is the fact that the virus can be carried by someone without showing symptoms is just great. It gives the virus the ability to breakout once more with the chance for a cure. But the director set a fine limit with the fact that the virus is not airborne. The realism of it to is so scary. The fact that the infected get of the British Isles is a great way to set up another sequel. Just think if that happened the entire world would be utter chaos Was this review helpful? People do carry cancer and never die from it, or carry other viruses that'd kill us in a second and leave them perfectly unharmed. Logic, morons, LOGIC!

It has it all (great acting, intense story line, etc).
I am not sure that the part 2 for 28 day later could be any better. I also could not help but noticed correlation between intellectual level of the review author and the rate.

It's actually realistic and that's what makes it so scary. The sequel was true to the original and I must say I liked it better than the first.

I have just found a seat in the sold out theater of the 7:55 showing of 28 Weeks Later. I had been waiting for this movie for quite some time now because of the fact that I loved 28 Days Later so much. But still I had some doubts about this one. Would it be a kickass adrenaline rush or just another case of Hollywood screwing up another movie by making a crappy sequel. From the first ten minutes of 28 Weeks I knew that this was something special. Unlike most sequels this movie actually had a pretty good story. It was obvious that the writers actually took time to make this movie respectable to its original. 28 Weeks Later had some great action sequences but also kept the storyline in place. This film will surely become part of my movie collection when it is released on to dvd. If you loved 28 Days Later such as I do then I highly suggest checking out 28 Weeks Later. Technically, the infected are not zombies, just people infected with rage!!! Hello, explains it in the first. If u bothered to watch it. Anyway, loved the mayhem, everything was intense from beginning to end, practically no down time, like Dawn of the Dead, and 28 days later. I really, really enjoyed this movie, it was great. Not a movie to see if u dont like zombie movies, violence, or sheer terror. The beginning was awesome, and so was the husband and wife scene, if u seen it u know what im talkin about.
