I think this movie is truly brilliant! This is the only zombie movie that I see and it actually makes me wonder if this could happen in real life. This was due to the very minimal effects used in the movie. Instead of the steretoype apprach to such movies, the scary bits of the movie relied on the emotions of the characters and their interaction with each other.

the movie open with the most complex and sufficated opening ever and shortly became both gristly and dramatic zombic flick ever. the only nit pick in the movie is that at the end the movie was overly violent and disturbing, like every other zombie movie out there and was more of a clitche and was to predictable.

Plain and simple it's good, it's just good. If you haven't seen it rent it. If you have go buy it.So original not the plot but to make Zombie like creatures fast and athletic is just great.

i thought the movie was good if ur into zombie movies, its not somethin u wanna take a date to tho... i only gave it 4 stars because the blood amount was just unreasonable and the acting was not the best... if ur into good acting, zombies and a reasonable amount of gore try, Dawn of the Dead.

When I read on the movie cover Scary as Hell, I had high anticipations (I bought this movie along with Texas Chainsaw Massacre original, of course). But when I watched this movie, it wasnt really scary, more insightful than any other post-apocolyptic film. The film doesnt go with Zombie horror (if you pay attention, youll notice that most violence is quick, and almost offscreen in a way). It doesnt start with the craziness of the virus spreading, but rather with the dreary afteraffects of a global (or is it?, youll find out later) pandemic. Few people are alive, and Jim, who was comatose before the virus got out, wakes up and finds London to be abandoned...almost. The following 90 minutes gets real human emotions out and how characters react to each other. The music doesnt go over-the-top (but a few orchestra pieces are to be expected), instead using mostly guitar-driven pieces that are excellent. Although the film does have SOME cliches and other things that dont make this a stand-out film, it is still well-made. I still watch it over and over again.

THis movie was so stupid. I especially didnt like how they'd be sitting in a field and its all nice then it would jump to people running. what was that about? It was horrible acting and a poor attempt to to George Romero.

I think this movie is very good. A bit disgusting though, but good. The acting was excellent and the movie has a great power, great suspense and great action. It`s good to have a movie about something that could happen to us. It can prevent us...;)

I have always been facinated with apocolyptic, end of the world type stories and movies, and this one is one of the better ones i;ve seen. From the beginning they show just how massive and huge an event like that would be, and if you were one to survive, what it would look like.
A radass story, with good acting, and an incredible drawing power. 5 stars!

The "movie" is bad. The actors/actresses were bad. "28 Days Later" is not scary and quite boring. Don't bother.

OK, this movie is very realistic, and it makes it even better that way, i would prefer watching this movie instead of a stupid American film, Americans don't know a lot about horror, for instance, "the day after tomorrow" was just confusion and only the special fx stood out, but when it comes to the end of the days, the end of humanity, watch this movie, it depicts exactly how it could happen

Intense, terrifying and poignant. This film relies on the broad spectrum of emotions of its actors rather than the all too slap dash use of "special effects" adopted by American films (used largely to pad out pathetic screen plays) to incite the desired effect, and does it pretty damn well, if I say so myself. Finally, a shock film that doesn't insult the audience's intelligence. And, a message to boot; don't f*ck with Mother Nature or Mother Nature will f*ck with you. A lesson that still has yet to be learned.

Now, there are some lame moments in this film, and I found myself screaming "Why would they do that?" at least a few times, but I would watch it again. Whatever it was, there was a freshness to this movie that I have been looking for. It was fairly well-acted, and decently portrayed. You could sense the uncertainty of it all, and the scene in an empty London was remarkable (rivaled only by the scene in Vanilla Sky). My boyfriend even enjoyed it and he hates the horror movie type. A screwed up film, but definitely not a waste of your time.

This flick was a blast to watch. finally a horror film that doesnt have the stupid horror movie cliche's (i.e those dolts that hang around a spooky/haunted house too long looking for someone) the only thing i couldnt figure out is why? why in movies people break in somewhere, once they are inside, they take off their mask??!!
and if the sceintist is terrified that much if you let out the chimp, THERE IS A REASON WHY!! all in all it was a absolutely awesome horror flick. no stupid serial killer after nympho-drunk-too stupid to breathe teenagers running around some area that a unstoppable killing machine will hack them with an every day appliance or tool that we, in society, will never use in that manner. if you didnt like this movie, you gotta be brain dead, since the horror genre consist of awfully trash that hollywood push to the public like "I Know What You Did Last Summer" or "JASON X"

It was one of my best friends that made me watch this movie at his house late one saterday nite adn I found it to be one of the best films I have seen all year. Im not a horrer movie type guy but this was tollerable. It scared the crap out a me at some parts and was dramaticly emotional in others along with brief spots of peacefullness. The plot was followable and the characters I could relate to. The film focesed on many aspects of our spieces darker nature and our societys fragile state. It wasent just another flesh eating Zombie flick it had a hiding meaning withing it that you have to be openminded enough to see. If your neandertholic enough to be estaticly amused by over rated Gore you to death movies and not have the sense to aprietiate a good movie when you see one then do not see this movie. I on the other hand enjoyed it and was scared enough to be parinoed and jumpy the entire 30 minute walk back home from my friends. A very very good movie.

[if some things are written backwards or are mis-spelled I am dyslexic and I apoligize for the inconvenence.]
