Kiefer Sutherland is awesome. It is so exciting you sometimes sit and hold you breath through the whole show. It is a must watch. I found this show is the best TV show I have ever seen on TV here and it is the first English TV series make me so addicted. I almost cannot wait for another week to see watch the next hour.
Jack is the hero to me..all other casts are very great too, especially President David Palmer. I would like to address here that President Logan acts pretty well too since his character is definitely not the easy one. He needs to be sit between innocent, stupid and evil. There is no another word to describe this show than Coolest !!
Even I have Chinese background... I dont quite care about how the show will worst off the impression of Chinese Govt in coming season .. I guess it is the 6th one .... since... it is just a TV series... just let the show flows ...!!!

The only other TV show that ever did that for me was Star Trek Next Generation about the 3-5 seasons. The only thing that bothers me are the writers are under pressure to make the show politically correct. I hope they wont succumb to Chinese pressure this upcoming season because Jack is gonna have to make the Chinese look bad to get out of the mess he is in. The show only got nominations the first few seasons even though it was the best show out there in my opinion. The people that run Hollywood dont care for these types of shows and it took them 4 seasons to face reality and give the show the emmys it so rightly deserved. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful 24Posted: 8/28/2006A review of 24 [TV Series] by Anonymous 24 deserves nothing less than the awards it garnered in last nights Emmy Awards...whew!!!...Kiefer Sutherland and Jon Cassar are the BEST...Jon Cassar strategizes (along of course with the exceptional scriptwriters)...Jon knows his turf, and I really, really salute him...hes one of the best directors I know and his directing 24 is so great that you just cant help but love him and adore him...and Kiefer delivers nothing less of your expectations...Hes so, so good...I am hooked...I love Jack Bauer, I love Kiefer Sutherland...Not to mention of course that hes so so cute, he gets you hooked and draws you to him through his extraordinary charisma in 24....I love the cast too - they all play very exciting roles and deliver it great - I love Tony, Michelle, Kim, David Sherry Palmer, Nina, Ryan Chappelle (I like him too), Chloe (of course), Charles Martha Logan, i love Audrey too and Sec. Heller, Aaron, etc., etc....outstanding cast!!!....all CTU directors as well really did great and all villains in the movie were perfect...what more can you ask? the excitement and tension is superb...you wouldnt want to stop.....me, after completing seasons 1-5...is still repeating them now....until season 6 comes out...so please, please...release it asap since i can no longer wait...@_@...i have also brought my friends to the loop and everybodys addicted..hahahaha....if you want to enjoy LIFE -- watch 24 and youll experience it...nothing more, nothing less...!!!! You guys all get quite exited over this show. Let me introduce myself, I am from Melbourne, Australia (that little Island down south, long ago taken over by George Bush) and we get the show over here too.
We are probably 8 series behind you guys using the average lag time for media, but Im enjoying it all the same. This is definately a good show. One of the redeming qualities is the addictability. I also like the character of Jack Bower, he is pretty cool.
However,
The pace the show takes can be a touch repedetive and relationships seem a little 2 dimentional, a little bit Quentin Tarrentino ish(this is a new 3 part word I just made up).
I would like to see less made up gadgets and Lord of the Ring Style obvious bad guys and see more about what makes Jack tick, a bit of a dark side, maybee a sudoku addiction or something. (just kidding about the Sudoku). Do Americans know what Sudoku is? I dunno.
Anyway- Its a pretty good show. Its thrilling and exciting to watch, and their is no denying Keifer Sutherland plays a real kick arse, mean, lean dude.

The plot twists and turns and leaves you on the edge of your seat. We get ancy when the season ends because we can hardly wait the week between each episode, let alone the months between seasons. I did not watch it when it first come on TV, but i watched season 1 and got hooked. I love Jack and my fave is Tony and Michelle.
It was very sad to hear about Michelle getting killed in it and Tony. I hope the creators of this show would some how bring Tony back as he was a big part of this show and i am sure that everyone is missing him, i know i am.

Each Season flows differently, and provides unique sights, twists and experiences at every turn. Within the 2 hours of this S
season you will be as gripped as ever, looking forward to the next episode all week, and treasuring every second. Ive tried many times to describe how good this show was, is and will be. Ive compared it to the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Ive said the music is so good its almost like the show is engineered around it, not the other way round. Ive said the plot is creative, logical, insane and feasible at the same time.
But really, theres only so much English can express. If you are a 24 virgin, I envy you. You have yet to see one of the best things America has produced, and Im not just talking about TV. I HAVE RUSHED HOME JUST TO WATCH IT. THE ONLY EPSOIDE I MISSED WAS WHEN MY FIRST GRANDSON WAS BORN ON JANUARY 31,2006, OTHER THAN THAT, I HAVE NEVER MISSED A SHOW. MY OLDEST SON LOVES IT TOO, I HAVE BOUGHT ALL THE SEASONS ON DVD SO FAR.
