Bob has reached "the big four-oh," and Emily has bought him an expensive gold watch as a birthday present. Impishly, Bob intends to show off the watch at the surprise party he's not supposed to know about. But when he finds out how much the watch really cost, his insecurities kick in and he refuses to show up at the festivities. The guest cast includes Joan Tompkins as Aunt May, Mimi Torchin as Wendy Rivers, and Michael Lerner as Carolla.
