| Part of the World's Last Great Places collection of nature videos from National Geographic, this documentary highlights the wilderness of the Sonoran Desert. Described as "North America's violent Eden," this parched piece of property encompasses the southwestern third of Arizona, a small area of southeastern California, most of Baja California Del Norte, and the western half of Sonora, Mexico. While the terrain can be unforgiving, this arid climate actually supports an unusual crop of flora and fauna. Everything from the saguaro cactus to the deciduous Boojum Tree flourishes here.
