Synopsis
This "outer space Western" episode serves to introduce the Kalderans, a band of anti-government warriors. Hunt (Kevin Sorbo), Beka (Lisa Ryder), Tyr (Keith Hamilton Cobb), and Trance (Laura Bertram) are conducting a search for Ortiz, a high-profile government figure who has inexplicably gone into hiding. The fact that Ortiz is high man on the Kalderan most-wanted list forces the Andromeda crew members into a showdown at an alien saloon. "Last Call at Broken Hammer" first aired in Canada on October 27, 2001, and in the U.S. on October 29. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
