At the behest of Logan (Michael Weatherly), Max (Jessica Alba) tries to get the goods on a mob boss by playing up to wimpy Syndicate accountant Dougie (Laurie Brunetti). Soon, however, both Max and Dougie are under the hypnotic power of the transgenic Mia (Tracy Leah Ryan), who is pursuing a strange agenda all her own.
