Synopsis
	This drama takes an ironic look at Rio de Janeiro where a seedy underside co-exists with the city of picture-postcard beauty. A young woman comes to the city in search of her lover. He had promised to send for her, but he is now a killer on the run, wanted by the law. She joins up with two men, one who sings of understanding and another who simply wants to return to the country. When she finds her lover, she is caught with him in a trap set by the police.
