A lot can happen to actors over five movies ...

There have been other franchises, of course: "Star Wars," "The Lord of the Rings," even "Scary Movie." But there aren't too many that will run seven
pictures long, starring essentially
the same cast. What's more, there are even
fewer in which we can watch the characters grow up on-screen. So how bad have
the awkward years been for the "Harry Potter" crowd? Believe it or not, not too
bad: They really must know magic ...
Harry Potter
You don't need to have seen Daniel Radcliffe in his controversial (read: nude) stage
role in "Equus" to know that the boy wizard sports some rather manly muscles.
This is because in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" we are treated to a
long scene of Harry in a large bathtub alongside a curious, adolescent female
ghost. Apparently Quidditch is good exercise. Either that, or Hogwarts has a
top-secret personal training program that we'll learn about in the final book of
the series. The muscles mark the major change in Harry Potter — that, and the
mini-mullet he wore in "Goblet of Fire." He's back with short hair again, along
with his trademark round glasses. All in all, adolescence has been kind to Harry
Potter. Lucky fellow.
