Nicolas Cage: Early
in his acting career, Cage gave some terrific performances in a number of
significant films, including "Moonstruck" and "Raising Arizona," but lately his role selection has
been anything but inspired. Apparently starring in bad movies isn't the only
poor ... moredecision the actor has been making as of late. The IRS recently accused the
44-year-old actor with falsely writing off $3.3 million in personal charges to
his company, Saturn Productions. According to his business manager, purchasing a
turbojet and expensing limousine rides are "customary in the entertainment
industry" and are therefore appropriate write-offs. Cage is currently contesting
the IRS's charge, but, Nic, if you are found guilty and are forced to pay up,
please consider eBay-ing your Oscar for Best Actor as an alternative to phoning
