Canadian native Elisha Cuthbert began modeling at age 7. Following an
appearance in 1997's "Dancing on the Moon," she became a correspondent for the hit
Canadian TV series "Popular Mechanics for Kids," and was invited to Washington,
D.C., for a meeting with
... morethen-first lady Hillary Clinton. Elisha moved to L.A.
at 17 and joined the cast of Nickelodeon's "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" in
1999, but it was her role as Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) daughter on FOX's "24" that really shot her to fame. Following supporting roles
in the films "Old School" and "Love Actually," Elisha moved on to co-starring roles in "The Girl Next Door" and "House of Wax." Next year, she is set to appear in acclaimed
director Roland Joffé's psychological thriller, "Captivity."
