Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Guy Ritchie, 40, Sept. 10: Gritty Brit director Ritchie burst onto the scene with "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" in 1998 and has built his career steadily with dark films like "Snatch." In 2000, he married Madonna, though late this year they divorced. (That was fast, wasn't... more it?) No matter: Ritchie appears busier than ever, filming "Sherlock Holmes" in England with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, and he recently announced that his next project will be called "The Gamekeeper."
