Jessica Alba began her acting career on TV, appearing
on shows including "Beverly Hills 90210," "Chicago Hope" and Nickelodeon's "The
Secret World of Alex Mack." Her first substantial leading role was in 1999's
teen-horror flick "Idle Hands." Later that year, she
... moreappeared in Drew Barrymore's "Never Been Kissed." Jessica's biggest break, however, was in
2000, when she was cast as the star of the much-hyped TV show "Dark Angel" from producer James Cameron. Though the show only lasted two
years, it spring-boarded her into huge film roles. She starred in
2003's "Honey," and co-starred in two of this year's
blockbusters -- "Sin City" and "Fantastic Four." This September, Jessica appeared in the
adventure film "Into the Blue" with Paul Walker and Josh Brolin. Close
