Jesse McCartney's career began at an early age; he sang on Broadway and landed a role on the soap opera "All My Children" before age 12. At age 12, he joined the boy band Dream Street, who had great success with their one self-titled release in 2002. Jesse then ... morebegan contributing songs to various teen-friendly movies' soundtracks, such as "A Cinderella Story" and "Ella Enchanted." In 2004, he returned to acting, joining the cast of the freshman WB series "Summerland." The role has skyrocketed Jesse to teen-idol status, and his success was furthered by the release of his debut solo full-length album, 2004's "Beautiful Soul."
