Evan Rachel Wood has gained a reputation for being
one of today's most versatile and engaging actors. Though she lost out to Kirsten Dunst for the child lead in "Interview with the Vampire" at age 7, she began catching
critics' eyes during her time on the drama "Once and Again
... more," where she played the young, confused and
anorexic Jessie Sammler. Since the show's cancellation, Evan has received
acclaim for her performances in a number of wide-ranging roles — from the
rebellious, angry Tracy in "Thirteen" (for which she was nominated for a Screen
Actors Guild and Golden Globe award) to a crafty, manipulative schoolgirl in "Pretty Persuasion." Later this year, Evan will appear alongside
Edward Norton in "Down in the
Valley." Close
