So why, Halle, why after some interesting earlier work (such as "Jungle Fever" and "Bulworth") and your daring, intense work in "Monster's Ball" have you starred in such tepid, blockbuster fare? First it was "Die Another Day," then, the "X-Men" sequels. There was even that little movie called "Catwoman," a film that didn't have the decency to be awful enough as a campy good time. We give Berry props for "Their Eyes Were Watching God" but that was on TV and, Halle, you're a movie star. Start acting like one again.
