The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

The girls who swap the magical jeans (Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, Blake Lively and Alexis Bledel) are back for another summer of adventures (romantic and otherwise). The teen dramedy, directed by Sanaa Hamri, is based on the series of novels by Ann Brashares. It's "blithely shallow" and "about pleasability, not plausibility," writes Variety critic John Anderson. "It's all largely eye candy, especially the men, although this can be forgiven: Women have a long enough history of being superficial in the movies, and a little payback is perfectly understandable." The DVD features deleted scenes, a gag reel and a featurette on the final scene.
