The Cake Eaters

This small ensemble drama, the directorial debut of actress Mary Stuart Masterson, hopes to get a little reflected glory from the DVD release of "Twilight" this week. After all, both films feature Kristen Stewart, who stars as a teenager suffering from a degenerative neurological disease, and who is determined to experience sex before she dies. Aaron Stanford plays the boy she sets her sights on, and Bruce Dern, Elizabeth Ashley, Talia Balsam, Jesse L. Martin and Melissa Leo fill out the cast.
