R,2hrs 19min Released: July 3, 1991 Director: Distributor: TriStar Pictures Starring: DVD Review by Sean Axmaker, Special to MSN Movies (Note: This review refers to the Blu-ray version of the DVD.) Arnold Schwarzenegger in his best role ever: a relentless, emotionless robot. He was a villain in the first film, but the mechanical marauder has been reprogrammed to fight on the side of the humans and save the once and future hope of mankind from the next generation of Terminator, a quicksilver juggernaut that is almost unstoppable. It was a technical marvel in 1991 and still a pretty impressive tech-noir thriller. Lionsgate has been revising and re-releasing "T2" for years. This is the second Blu-ray release of the film to date, but the first to include the two DVD commentary tracks. No featurettes here, but the material has been reworked into a picture-in-picture video track, and an alternate viewing mode offers running storyboards and script excerpts.DVD Detailed Information | ||||||||||||||
