Stargate: The Ark of Truth

The long-running sci-fi TV series may have closed the gate but the story continues in this direct-to-DVD climax, which sends the SG-1 team -- Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks), Vala (Claudia Black), Teal'c (Christopher Judge), Sam (Amanda Tapping) and Cam (Ben Browder) -- on a mission to find an ancient weapon that could help them defeat the oppressive Ori force (the alien race they've been fighting for the final seasons of the series). Beau Bridges is back in charge as Major General Landry, and Currie Graham, Morena Baccarin, Tim Guinee, Julian Sands, Sarah Strange and Michael Beach co-star. Written and directed by the show's executive producer, Robert C. Cooper, it wraps up the story line and makes way for a follow-up video feature.
