Seven Pounds

Will Smith reteams with his "The Pursuit of Happyness" director Gabriele Muccino for a tearjerker about a guilt-wracked IRS tax collector (Smith) on a mission to help seven strangers (who include Woody Harrelson as a blind telemarketer and Rosario Dawson as the obligatory love interest in need of a new heart) and a jellyfish in a box. It's a vaguely drawn drama of redemption that conspicuously conceals the motivations (and the meaning of the title) until the end. The DVD features commentary by Muccino, four featurettes and four deleted scenes. The Blu-ray edition also features a digital copy of the film for portable media players.
