Rudo y Cursi

Rudo (Gael García Bernal) is a fearsomely aggressive goalkeeper who thinks he's a gambler. Beto (Diego Luna), aka Cursi, is a talented striker who thinks he's a singer. These farm-boy soccer stars are ill-equipped to deal with anything off the pitch: relationships, career, reality. It's a familiar spiral to disaster, but Bernal and Luna are completely invested in the characters, their dreams and their often contentious fraternal bonds.
