Milla Jovovich is back to kick more zombie butt in the third installment of the big-screen franchise based on the hit video game. By now, the zombie infection has spread across the country, and she and a handful of survivors (Oded Fehr, Ali Larter, Ashanti and Mike Epps) take on the undead in the Las Vegas desert. "The scares that are there just don't work, which would be OK if the action were amped up to realize the pic's full potential," writes AMG critic Jeremy Wheeler. "On the plus side, Milla Jovovich still delivers a tough cookie performance that proves she still lives up to her action starlet status, with her acrobatics being some of the most impressive feats of the film." Russell Mulcahy directs this installment from a script by producer Paul W.S. Anderson, and they are joined by producer Jeremy Bolt for a commentary track. Also includes four featurettes, deleted scenes, and a sneak peek at the upcoming all-CGI sequel.
