Passengers

What looks like a drama that revisits the territory explored in Peter Weir's "Fearless," with Patrick Wilson as the survivor of a plane crash and Anne Hathaway as his well-meaning but fumbling counselor trying to penetrate his state of euphoria, shifts into a conspiracy mystery and finally into a ghost story with a psychological cushion. Director Rodrigo García conducts a film drenched in mood and trapped in a bubble, which only makes the twists of the screenplay all the more frustrating.
