R,1hr 49min Genre: Released: July 1, 1978 Director: Distributor: Universal Pictures Starring: DVD Review by Sean Axmaker, Special to MSN Movies "To-ga! To-ga! To-ga!" This raucous, irreverent tribute to the finer aspects of college life (booze, parties, mean-spirited practical jokes, and sex) remains a classic in its gross-out, bad-taste, anything-for-a-laugh class. John Belushi is at his sneaking, leering, grotesque best as Bluto, the "animal" of the lawless fraternity better known at the small East Coast Faber College as Animal House. Tim Matheson, Peter Riegert, Bruce McGill, James Widdoes, Douglas Kenney, Tom Hulce and Stephen Furst fill out the house, and John Vernon is their nemesis, the spitting-mad Dean Wormer. The new two-disc set of this perennial re-release features the new feature-length documentary "National Lampoon's Animal House" and the multimedia "Scene-It" quiz along with the previously released featurettes and supplements.
