Land of the Lost

Will Ferrell brings his doofus humor and dumb gags to a megabudget comedy reworking of the '70s children's TV adventure created by Sid and Marty Krofft. It's a disastrous comedy, with Ferrell and co-stars Anna Friel, Danny McBride and Jorma Taccone apparently ad-libbing between the expensive computer effects. There are a few giggles and a couple of clever set pieces, but otherwise it's just an aimless romp of juvenile humor. Features commentary by director Brad Silberling, deleted scenes, and a McBride featurette. The Blu-ray edition features more deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, and an interview with Sid and Marty Krofft among the supplements.
