La Femme Nikita

Luc Besson's sleek 1990 thriller has been remade, copied and even spun-off into a TV series, but none of these come close to capturing the feral charge and the visceral grit of Anne Parillaud's Nikita, whose development from suicidal street punk to professional assassin unexpectedly sparks her will to live, and to love, in the face of death. An earlier DVD release was stocked with supplements, but there are none on this bare-bones Blu-ray release.
