Kung Fu Panda

Roly-poly panda Po (voiced by Jack Black) is the kung fu fan whose love of food becomes his secret weapon when Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) trains him to become the Dragon Warrior (over the more obviously talented Furious Five). It's the classic martial arts movie plot of an unlikely student who reaches his potential through discipline and heart, which DreamWorks gives a sprightly energy with zippy action, terrific character animation and plenty of physical comedy. The DVD includes a kid-friendly collection of featurettes and activities and is also available in a two-pack with "Secrets of the Furious Five," a 24-minute prequel with Black and Hoffman reprising their characters.
