Ironweed

Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep star in the adaptation of William Kennedy's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, written for the screen by the author himself. They play a pair of alcoholic vagabonds in 1938 Albany, N.Y., surviving on the streets from drink to drink and from meal to meal in the depths of the Depression. Hector Babenco directs, and Carroll Baker, Michael O'Keefe and Tom Waits co-star. The DVD release features a stills gallery as its sole supplement.
