Hotel for Dogs

Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin are orphaned siblings with a rescued stray and new foster parents (Lisa Kudrow and Kevin Dillon) who have a "no pets" policy. What's a kid to do? Turn an abandoned hotel into a makeshift animal shelter, of course, complete with inventions to automate the care and feeding of the growing brood of sweet-tempered strays. "There are so many 'awwww' moments that it's like unwrapping presents at a baby shower," observes MSN Cinepapa Adam Berliant. "Young kids watching will love it [but parents are] probably just better off choosing between enjoying the dog tricks or getting a good catnap."
