Homeboy

Mickey Rourke was at the height of his career when he made this project (which he also wrote under the name Eddie Cook) about a washed-up boxer looking for one last shot at respect before he has to hang up his gloves. Christopher Walken is the small-time crook who tries to lure him into robberies, and Debra Feuer is the woman who promises redemption. No coincidence that this 1988 film makes its DVD debut in the wake of his success in "The Wrestler."
