DVD Review
by Sean Axmaker, Special to MSN Movies

(Note: This review refers to the Blu-ray version of the DVD.)

Loosely based on the real-life serial killer Henry Lee Lucas, John McNaughton's grim, grungy 1986 horror turns Michael Rooker's Henry into one of the most terrifying screen villains. Shot with a reserved eye, a documentary-like style and a straightforward presentation, McNaughton gives us a monster for the modern world, a cold killer in a society deadened by media violence who murders for the rush. The Blu-ray debut features all the supplements of the previous DVD releases, including commentary, documentaries, featurettes and deleted scenes.
