Michael Mann's 1995 epic of uncompromising criminal professionals and the obsessed cop on their trail is a modern crime classic. Robert De Niro runs his heist crew with ruthless efficiency and commands unwavering loyalty. Al Pacino is the relentless cop whose respect for their talent is matched only by his determination to bring them down. Masterfully directed, meticulously executed (the brilliant opening takedown is mesmerizing in its precision) and beautifully shot, this is a crime movie that lives the code of its characters. Includes the supplements from the DVD special edition: commentary by Mann (which reveals that he is as meticulous as his characters), five featurettes, deleted scenes and trailers.
