Starring: DVD Review by Sean Axmaker, Special to MSN Movies Sienna Miller is Edie Sedgwick, the '60s darling of bohemian glamour and star of Andy Warhol's Factory troupe, in the biographical drama charting the rise and fall of the society girl slumming her way to stardom. Guy Pearce co-stars as Warhol, and Hayden Christensen is a Dylan-esque rock star with whom Sedgwick has an affair. Director George Hickenlooper rushed the film through editing to get it into theaters last December in hopes of landing an Oscar nomination for Miller, but it played to lukewarm reviews. The DVD features Hickenlooper's final edit of the film, which is slightly restructured and runs longer than the theatrical release. The unrated edition also features commentary by Hickenlooper and writer Captain Mauzner, deleted scenes with optional commentary, Miller's audition tape, Pearce's video diary, and two featurettes. | ||||||||||||||
