During the investigation, he discovers that his flashes of déjà vu aren't all in his head. With the help of a top-secret government device that can eavesdrop on the recent past, he tries to stop a terrorist attack and prevent a murder that has already happened. "Whether or not you get that nagging sensation that you've seen 'Déjà Vu' before, your brain will seriously hurt trying to figure out whether its central gimmick works," writes AP critic Christie Lemire, who quietly adds: "(It doesn't.) ...
