![]() R,1hr 20min Genre: Released: November 9, 2007 Director: Distributor: After Dark Films Starring: DVD Review by Sean Axmaker, Special to MSN Movies The "After Dark Horrorfest" returns with "8 Films to Die For." The films originally played at weekend-long film festivals in dozens of cities in November 2007, and hit DVD this week. As far as bona fides go, the slasher-killer-horror "Crazy Eights" arrives with the most familiar cast: Dina Meyer, Frank Whaley, Gabrielle Anwar and Traci Lords are among the childhood friends who, years after being guinea pigs in behavioral experiments, reunite at a funeral and go play in a haunted house where they are stalked by a killer. "Nightmare Man" (from exploitation veteran Rolfe Kanefsky) and "Borderland" both arrive with commentary and other supplements, and "Mulberry Street" has deleted scenes and a featurette. "Tooth & Nail," "Unearthed," "The Deaths of Ian Stone," and "Lake Dead" fill out the festival offerings. Every disc features "Miss Horrorfest Contest" webisodes. | ||
