It's your typical boy-meets-girl story: Mascara-loving musician on the
rebound co-hosts erotica festival with newly single hypermammiferous porn queen.
Sparks fly.
Dave Navarro, who announced his "amicable separation" from
wife Carmen Electra last month, and Jenna Jameson, just separated from husband-cum-porno partner
Jay Grdina, are in the early stages of courtship, reports Star.
"It is true that they are dating," Jenna's rep tells the tab, although Dave's
flack isn't quite ready to pronounce them a couple, insisting they're "not
officially dating."
Still, the "Rock Star: Supernova" judge seemed to be feeling pretty
upbeat about life during a show at the Hard Rock in Chicago Monday night,
declaring to the crowd (via the New York Daily News), "This is the happiest I've
been in three months!"
Dave and Jenna were reportedly introduced by author Neil Strauss, with whom
they both collaborated on ultra-personal tomes, and reconnected in June at
Erotica L.A., which is, appropriately enough, the "annual festival of
sexuality."
Meanwhile, in still more Navarro romance news, another woman has come forward
to say she got up close and personal with him before he went public with his
Electra split (he's previously been linked to so-called socialite Sarah Howard
and aspiring starlet Casey Durkin).
Moniker-challenged actress Jenae Altschwager tells Star she carried on a
"passionate," steamy picture-filled flirtation with the rocker, whom she met in
Las Vegas in April but decided against taking things too far when she eyeballed
one of Navarro's Carmen-centric ink stains.
"His 'CE' tattoo [for Carmen Electra] on his chest was like a blinking
light," she reveals to the tab. "Carmen might as well have come out of his chest
and said, 'Don't sleep with my husband!'"
Altschwager's admission could make for an uncomfortable time on the set of
her forthcoming flick, "Beyond Legend: Johnny Kakota," in which Electra will
reportedly appear.
As for the professional bombshell, she was apparently in no mood to deal with
David Blaine at a shindig last week in the
Hamptons. The Daily News reports Electra acted "uncharacteristically huffy,"
declining to pose with the much-mocked magician, who was co-hosting the bash.
Asked one guest, "You think she's turned against all men named Dave?"
