The way they were: Raffaello and Anne at an event in Italy last year.

Anne Hathaway's reputation wasn't the only thing dinged by former boyfriend Raffaello Follieri's underhanded business dealings. Seems her jewelry box also took a hit. The Smoking Gun reports that the FBI recently "recovered" several "lavish" baubles bestowed upon the actress by her con artist ex, who is expected to spend at least five years in the pokey after pleading guilty this week to wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy. Among the items that Hathaway, who's not mentioned by name in court documents, purportedly handed over to the feds: two Rolex watches -- one gold, one silver; two gold rings, one with "clear stones," which may be FBI-speak for diamonds; a five-strand pearl necklace; a silver bracelet dotted with "clear stones"; and a silver chain with a cross and "blue and clear stones." Anne opens up in the October issue of W about her breakup with Follieri after four years of togetherness, explaining, "It's a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden. But just as suddenly, my friends threw another rug back under me." She then tearfully notes, "I've been shown such kindness. Not everyone gets that. A lot of people go through tough times alone."

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr arrive for Doncaster Day at the Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on April 26.

In other jewel news, Orlando Bloom mixed business with pleasure as he apparently showered his Victoria's Secret girlfriend Miranda Kerr with sparkly gifts this week in London. People reports the pair turned up Tuesday night at an art gallery to check out an Afghan jewelry exhibition put on by the Turquoise Mountain Foundation charity. After browsing the wares for about a half-hour, the actor plunked down $1,148 for an emerald ring, $672 for a ruby bracelet and $265 for pomegranate earrings. But Bloom's motivation for the shopping spree may have involved more than just wanting to see his girlfriend draped in bright and shiny objects. He's been tapped to play the head of the Turquoise Mountain Foundation in a forthcoming film.

Just like that, our dreams of a reality show chronicling the wacky adventures of Pamela Anderson and Michael Jackson have been crushed. Sigh. A week after a British tabloid hilariously hinted that the oddball duo was giving off date-like vibes during a pair of "secret" meetings in Malibu, the seasoned bombshell laughed off the report during a chat with Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday. "He just wants me to be in a video," scoffed Pam, who, as is her wont, stripped down to an itty-bitty bikini during the show. "My life is so interesting. My life is a blur." When Ellen pressed her on whether she's been hanging out with the hollowed-out shell of the onetime King of Pop, the top-heavy blonde suddenly got vague, babbling, "It happens ... skin cancer and Vicodin. I don't know ... I have a lot of interesting friends."

Liv Tyler attends a Valentino event in New York on Sept. 3.

"I don't feel calm and collected. I feel neurotic, like Woody Allen. I'm a Cancer, and sometimes I just feel like a crab without a shell." That's Liv Tyler in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar U.K., detailing her emotional state following her May split from Royston Langdon, her rocker-husband of five years. "My mother always told me that you may fall down and scrape your knees, but you brush them off and keep going," says the actress, who has a 3-year-old son, Milo, with her ex. "For the first time in my life, it's so much harder for me to get up and brush [off] my knees. ... I am feeling the pain and the loss of everything." These days, "I'm trying to just take one day at a time and be the best mom I can -- but it is a strange time, like walking down the road with nowhere to go," observes Tyler, who admits she can't recall the last time she puckered up for a kiss that didn't involve her tyke. "We'll see where it takes me."

This is "fat"? A slimline Eva Longoria Parker poses in New York on Sept. 7.

Has Eva Longoria Parker been checking out her reflection in a funhouse mirror? That appears to be the only explanation for her skewed perception of her tiny figure. The "Desperate Housewives" actress, who has been repeatedly subjected to stork speculation in recent months, insists she's just carrying some extra baggage and not the spawn of her NBA hubby, Tony Parker. "I'm just fat," she laughingly announced during a sit-down Tuesday with French TV's "Le Grand Journal." Longoria has reportedly added a few pounds in a bid to look more like her small-screen alter ego, who's now a frazzled, stay-at-home mother of two.

It's the end of the line for Sarah McLachlan and her husband of 11 years. The Canadian chanteuse tells Billboard that she's separated from Ashwin Sood, the drummer in her band and the father of her two daughters, 6-year-old India and 14-month-old Taja. "I wasn't planning on saying anything," she confessed to the magazine, "but it's gonna come out at some point. I haven't said anything about it because I've been terrified to, but I figure ... there's no good time to say it, so I just said it." McLachlan is tight-lipped about the reasons for the parting of ways, but she tellingly describes the situation as "pretty gross." The singer has channeled her emotions into song, penning two tunes, "U Want Me 2" and "Don't Give Up on Us," for her soon-to-be released greatest-hits album.

Sienna Miller is finding Los Angeles just as inhospitable as London, where her house was reportedly defaced with the word "slut." After recent paparazzi run-ins at the airport and a gas station, the actress was cornered by a mob of shutterbugs on Tuesday in Beverly Hills as she waited for an elevator. As the lensmen boorishly lobbed questions about her relationship with father-of-four Balthazar Getty, Miller covered her face and hugged the wall. Meanwhile, word from TMZ.com is that the actor's estranged wife Rosetta has no plans to file for divorce because of the financial hit she'd take. While Getty reportedly hasn't reaped the benefits of his family's fortune, he is pulling down a decent paycheck from his gig on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters." If the breakup were made official, says TMZ, Rosetta would lose out on any of his future earnings.
