Quickies: Aniston's Bikini Break and More ...

Jennifer Aniston is chilling out on the water before diving back into work in a big way. The tanned and yoga-toned star, who was recently named Hollywood's best actress investment by Forbes, was snapped paddle-surfing in Hawaii on Saturday alongside kayak-bound pals Courteney Cox and David Arquette and their unwisely lifejacket-free daughter Coco, 3. Aniston has just lined up a slate of high-profile projects, including the romantic road comedy "Management," the ensemble flick "He's Just Not That Into You" and the big-screen adaptation of the best-selling memoir "Marley & Me," the three-hanky weeper about a lovable if rascally Labrador retriever (Owen Wilson will co-star).

Speaking of the Cox-Arquettes, they continue to bulk up their real estate portfolio. The couple, who recently flipped their Malibu, Calif., beach mansion for $33 million, more than triple what they paid for it about six years ago, is moving into a $17 million "family compound" in the same tony neighborhood, reports the Los Angeles Times. The 5,000-square-foot 1950 estate comes complete with five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, along with a fully kitted out guesthouse and coveted beach access. The paparazzi-loathing pair supposedly settled on their pad, which has its own bluff and cove, because it offered more privacy than their previous one.

In other real estate news, it looks like Christie Brinkley is hoping to make a fresh start by unloading the massive Hamptons mansion she shared with fourth husband Peter Cook, whom she split with last year after his reported liaison with a dewy beauty. The New York Post reports the impressively preserved model is asking a whopping $30 million for the 20-acre estate, which includes a five-bedroom, 8,500-square-foot main house built in 1898, along with a guesthouse, greenhouse, five-story observation tower, pool, tennis court and gym.

With "Invasion" quickly shaping up to be a major turkey, Nicole Kidman can probably use all the prayers she can get. According to Sydney's Daily Telegraph, the glossy foreheaded Oscar winner and her "Australia" co-star Hugh Jackman recently received blessings from aboriginal communities in Kununurra, where Baz Luhrmann's budget-busting epic is currently filming. Nicole and Hugh joined the film's cast and crew for a welcome ceremony that included dancing, storytelling and a spritz of water from a local river. "It was beautiful to receive the blessings," said Kidman. "I felt very honored to be a part of this deeply spiritual land. The warmth and kindness [they] are showing us is very much appreciated."

If nothing else, Lindsay Lohan's stint in the swanky Cirque Lodge rehab facility in Utah has proved to her that one can have fun without engaging (allegedly) in a Kevin Mazur/WireImage.comhigh-speed car chase while unwittingly carrying someone else's illegal substances (allegedly) in your pants. On the heels of her recent outing to a tanning salon, the unsound starlet has been snapped enjoying a bike ride in a cleavage-tastic tank top and laughing during a river-rafting trip. But is Lohan soon hoping to shift her focus back to work? With her movie prospects in shambles, she may be considering reviving her music career, according to the New York Daily News, which says she's "let Universal Music execs know she's ready to deliver the third album she owes." The record company, however, isn't quite as primed for her next opus. "As much as she wants to make another album, the feeling is she needs to get herself cleaned up," a source explains to the paper. "Then we can talk about it."
