Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes exposed plenty of tan-free epidermis as they frolicked in the surf last week while yachting around the Mediterranean, but are they planning to recreate their wet-and-mild togetherness for posterity?

So says an Australian tabloid, which claims Suri's parents plan to strip down -- way down -- for a shower-set photo shoot that will out-steam (literally) the sultry snaps pals David and Victoria Beckham recently took for W magazine.

According to New Weekly magazine, Tom and Katie want their spread to be "even racier" than their BFFs' because their romance has "a strong physical side they want to share with fans."

(When contacted for comment, the fans said, "Thanks for the thought, but we're good.")

"Tom and Katie really have amazing chemistry," a snitch with a soft spot for the twosome's favorite adjective asserts to the mag. "They want to show the world how much."

And just how much might that be? Apparently as much as Cruise flaunted in "Far and Away" and Holmes showed off in "The Gift."

"Tom and Katie want to pose together in the shower," a "source close to the pair" alleges, "dripping wet and covered by nothing but steam."

But it turns out there's no need to pre-emptively cut out pictures of clothes to paste over the flesh-filled images of the generally G-rated Cruises.

Tom's rep adamantly denies the duo has any plans to disrobe, insisting to MSN Entertainment that the rumors are "absolutely not true."

Although Cruise and Holmes may not be doffing their duds for a major magazine, they did dress down during their Mediterranean cruise on board the Arctic P, the uber-luxurious if moniker-challenged yacht owned by Australian billionaire and buddy-of-Cruise James Packer.

Paparazzi captured the swimsuit-sporting TomKat in Sardinia as they jet-skied à deux (they took turns driving), caught some rays and, in the case of Cruise, attempted to acclimate 15-month-old Suri to the choppy sea.

Alas, the doll-faced, life-vest-bedecked tot was having none of it and, judging by the look on her face, appeared to be wailing at the top of her lungs as she bobbed in the water.

On Friday around midnight, Mr. and Mrs. Cruise popped up for a parents' night out at Saint-Tropez hot spot the VIP Room, where they set off what one shutterbug described to People as a "genuine photo riot."

The club's owner says the appearance of the identically mop-topped pair was "crazy, crazy, crazy. It was an amazing surprise. There were maybe 500 to 600 people gathered outside when they tried leaving. It was like word of mouth had spread all along the Cote d'Azur."

And just like at the recent "Welcome to America" bash they tossed for the Beckhams, the L. Ron Hubbard-loving honeys proceeded to shake their groove things.

They "danced the entire night together," recalls the excited owner. "When they weren't dancing they were holding hands."

No word on whether Cruise once again recreated his "Risky Business" dance moves to the strains of "Old Time Rock & Roll."

By Sunday, TomKat were back in Berlin, where the actor has been filming the World War II drama "Valkyrie."

Photographers tagged along as the now layer-covered couple -- he in his standard blazer and V-neck sweater; she in a turtleneck and billowy trench coat -- chased after the cherubic Suri and picked up some sugary treats at a bakery.
