Anne and Raffaello smile -- the former sweetly, the latter shiftily -- at the Oscars in February.

Is the FBI snooping into Anne Hathaway's deepest, darkest secrets? The New York Daily News says federal agents investigating the allegedly shady dealings of her former flame Raffaello Follieri recently confiscated her "intimate" journals during a search of the beleaguered Italian businessman's $37,500-a-month Trump Tower apartment. (We'll spare you the obvious "Princess Diaries" reference, although we do wonder if any entries began, "Dear Diary: Today I realized just how much Raffaello looks like Zach Braff, and it really unnerved me. I don't know what to do ...) No word on what kind of private info the actress's old-school scribblings might contain, but the feds also reportedly scooped up personal pics of the couple in happier times, along with a Tiffany clock and an antique Bible. Hathaway is now said to be freezing out her onetime beau, who is currently sitting in the slammer on fraud and money laundering charges. "She's changed her numbers so he can't reach her," a pal informs the paper. "Raffaello has been trying to call her all the time." Maybe she just couldn't hear her phone over the sound of cheesy power ballads. People says Anne warbled Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" during a karaoke outing with friends and family at a Cape May, N.J., restaurant on Monday night. (If it's any consolation, the song is now stuck in our head, too.)

Are Michelle and Spike doing more than just working together?

As Heath Ledger's legend grows with his critically lauded performance in the box office-crushing "The Dark Knight," the spotlight is once again pointing in the direction of Michelle Williams, his former fiancée and the mother of his look-alike 2-year-old daughter, Matilda. Star claims the low-profile actress has started seeing scruffy filmmaker Spike Jonze, the ex-husband of Sofia Coppola and onetime beau of Drew Barrymore. Michelle, 27, and Spike, 38, supposedly got to know each other while working together on the buzz-heavy, if title-challenged, "Synecdoche, New York," and the tab says they've been spotted spending time together around Manhattan. Still, an eyewitness to their ostensible coziness appears to turn what sounds like a friendly peck into something more. "Michelle kissed Spike with a closed mouth on the corner of his lips," the eyewitness tattles to the mag. "There was definitely a bit of caressing going on. She was clutching his arm. The body language was very romantic."

In our ongoing effort to bring you all the latest noshing news on Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer comes this tidbit from Star, which reports that the lately stealthy squeezes dined a deux (if you don't count the three bodyguards who tagged along) at Los Angeles eatery Madeo on Tuesday night. "They were obviously enjoying one another's company," a spy posits to the tab. "Jen stroked John's arm and they were in deep conversation till their food arrived." And because we know you're on pins and needles, both the actress and the crooner opted for sea bass and spinach, which they washed down with red wine.

Seafood was also on the menu for Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin during a recent night out in the Hamptons. People reports that the camera-dodging couple left kids Apple, 4, and Moses, 2, at home and enjoyed an "affectionate" dinner at Cherrystones Clam and Lobster Shack, where they chowed down on steamed littlenecks and a lobster roll.

Pam Anderson should have oodles of good material for her forthcoming E! reality show, "Pam: Girl on the Loose," thanks to ex-husband Tommy Lee. "He's always around. I can't get rid of him," the veteran bombshell told Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday. "We live together. We're always together." But just because the duo is playing house with sons Dylan, 10, and Brandon, 12, that doesn't mean they're looking to resuscitate their recidivist romance. "[I'm] not with him, with him," pooh-poohs Pam, before adding, "You never know what could happen. I mean, we can't get rid of each other, we love each other, you know? And it's kind of a funny, dysfunctional family like everybody else, but you know, hopefully one day we get it together. If not, we're really good friends."
