Ben Affleck is racking up major points in his karma column. On the heels of his moving commencement speech at the high school graduation of longtime pal Joe Kindregan on Friday in Virginia, the lantern-jawed actor returned to his hometown to stump for a worthy cause. The Boston Herald reports Affleck spent time on Sunday at the Greater Boston Food Bank as part of a campaign for America's Second Harvest, the nation's largest hunger-relief charity (June 5 is the sixth annual Hunger Awareness Day). Before hitting the warehouse to help sort and load food for delivery with other volunteers, Ben fielded questions from reporters -- and had them laughing as he was tossed a question about whether he had coughed up some cash to the organization. "I, ah, I am about to, ah, go in the back and write a check, yes," he said. When not doing good deeds, the image-overhauling Oscar winner was cheering on the Red Sox, hitting Fenway Park on Saturday with wife Jennifer Garner, who was a decidedly good sport when the team's fuzzy mascot approached her for a hug. The couple's adorably smiley tot Violet was a no-show.

Keith Urban has learned the hard way that not everyone is a fan of country music. Australia's Townsville Bulletin claims that when the crooner recently popped by the Queensland set of wife Nicole Kidman's big-budget epic "Australia," he was denied entry by a pop-culture-clueless security guard. Urban supposedly stood his ground (and likely died just a little inside), prompting the guard to call her boss and say, "There's some bloke here named Keith Urban wants to get on the set." Faster than you can say, "I have all your albums," Keith was ushered inside to see his missus. Kidman, by the by, is expected to pose this week for famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier, who is shooting her for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Jennifer Aniston made a fortune from "Friends," but that doesn't mean she's above being a corporate shill to further fill her overflowing coffers. Us Weekly confirms the well-hydrated star will be the new face of smartwater, acting not just as a spokeswoman but as a bottle designer. Aniston, who has been absent from the big screen since "The Break-Up," will be photographed for the print campaign -- her first stumping gig to be featured in the United States -- by photographer-to-the-stars Mario Testino, with her signature smartwater label expected to hit stores in July. "Jennifer became an immediate fan," the company said in a statement. "She believes so much in smartwater that she recently became an investor in the company and is even getting actively involved in the business." It remains unclear whether Aniston's investment netted her a tidy profit now that Coca-Cola has bought out smartwater's parent company, Glaceau (also unclear: whether she plans to donate any of her pitching proceeds to charity, although we wouldn't be surprised if she does). Rapper 50 Cent, who inked a deal with Glaceau in 2004 to produce a personalized version of vitaminwater, reportedly pocketed tens of millions from the buy-out.

If we didn't know better (oh, wait, we do), we'd think Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were oh-so-subtly laying the groundwork for an announcement in the not too distant future that another TomKitten is on the way. In a sit-down with "Entertainment Tonight," the "amazing"-spouting mom of Suri says, "Yes, definitely" when asked if they want more kids. If Suri does get a sibling, expect her to slip easily into the role of big sister. According to People, the 1-year-old tot is already looking to take care of her poopie-pants brethren. During a visit to a children's boutique in Shreveport, La., where Holmes is filming "Mad Money," "Katie let Suri walk around," the owner helpfully relates the mag (also walking around: two big bodyguards). "One customer had a 2-week-old baby and Suri wanted to pick her up. She would wave at the other children and want to play with them." Holmes later sent the shop's owners a thank-you note penned on embossed stationery bearing Suri's moniker.
