Just how seriously are Kirsten Dunst and Ryan Gosling taking their romantic roles in the
currently filming "All Good Things"? The New York Post says the co-stars were
spotted cozily noshing together at a Manhattan eatery last Saturday afternoon.
"They were definitely acting like they were on a date," a body language-reading
eyewitness tells the paper. "They lingered there for hours and were both dressed
kind of shabby." (That sound you hear? It's a million "Notebook" fans crying out in anguish as they tear down their
shrines to Gosling and his ex, Rachel McAdams). Dunst, who last month was supposedly
spending time with someone she met during her reported stint in rehab, kept her
lip zipped about the dating rumors when grilled by paparazzi Wednesday as she
shopped with a pal, reports E! News. Still, says a spy, "She seemed so happy to
be out enjoying herself. It was like the old Kirsten."
When it comes to dating, Natalie Portman doesn't seem to care if a guy is a cue ball
or a hair ball. The doe-eyed actress, who once had a dalliance with bald-pated
musician Moby, is now reportedly seeing hirsute (think Grizzly Adams, only less
well-groomed) singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart. People caught Portman
puckering up with the bearded, long-locked purveyor of oft-peppy folk ditties
Tuesday in New York. The next day, they were snapped yukking it up together at a
bookstore. Natalie, who most recently dated clothing designer Nathan Bogle, may
have bonded with Devendra over his music. She appears in his video for the tune
"Carmensita," and he contributed a song for her "Big Change: Songs for FINCA"
benefit CD last year. Another connection: The star's ex-boyfriend, Gael Garcia Bernal, dueted with Devendra on his ditty
"Cristobal."
In Bloom? Jen and Orlando at the 2004 Cannes

The tabloids have been determined to forge a love connection between Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom since they were spotted in Mexico together last fall, and despite the
stars' adamant denials, the romance rumblings keep surfacing. The latest outlet
to try to make something out of almost nothing is OK!, which trumpets in its
"More Than Just Friends" cover story, "Jen's stopped looking for love, but it
may have finally found her!" The evidence, such as it is: The two, who were
previously spied chit-chatting over Oscar weekend, greeted
each other and posed for pictures at a charitable fete in Los Angeles last week.
"They were like heat-seeking missiles," a bystander breathlessly recalls to the
mag. "They came together, threw their arms around each other and shared a big
hug." Another gawker goes further by concluding that Aniston "looked like she
wanted to grab him and make out with him!" A minor sticking point: Bloom has
been repeatedly snapped snuggling up to Australian model Miranda Kerr, whom he
was first linked to a year ago this month. On April 2, paparazzi
caught the pretty pair strolling arm-in-arm around the Getty Museum in Los
Angeles -- with Miranda's mother in tow. "Everything is going great," a
Kerr confidante tells Us. "Her mom approves."
Speaking of questionable couplings, paparazzi have been on the trail of Ryan Seacrest, who's been snapped out in Los Angeles twice
in recent days with Sophie Monk, best known as the blonde who dated Benji Madden
before Paris. A source tells Australia's Daily Telegraph that the "American
Idol" host and the Down Under starlet were "set up by a mutual friend,"
before adding approvingly, "He's the hardest working man in Hollywood and always
says he never has time to date. So the fact he asked Sophie out says something."
Also saying something is video from their nights on the town, showing a
distracted Seacrest checking his BlackBerry while walking alongside Monk and
then inconsiderately failing to open the door of their chauffeur-driven car for
her.
Chace Crawford apparently made a quick recovery
from his traumatic text message split from Carrie Underwood. The dreamboat-y "Gossip Girl" star is now
being linked to newly added cast mate Michelle Trachtenberg, a rumor that
oh-so-fortuitously arrives just ahead of the show's return (new episodes begin
April 21 -- set those TiVos). The New York Post says the pair was "flirting
heavily" at a Manhattan hot spot last weekend. "They were all over each other,"
says a spy. "She was drinking a beer and snuggling up to him." But when New York
magazine asked the starlet about the supposed flirting, she went on the
defensive, grousing, "I don't talk about tabloid bull----, and Chace is a
co-worker of mine, so ..." Besides, she fumes, "Tabloids make up crazy s---, and
I don't have to play into it."
